Innovative Foundation Supportworks Case Studies: Sturgeon Lake Lift Station

The Sturgeon Lake Lift Station had a water infiltration rate of 15 GPM (gallons per minute) causing the pump to be activated 12 to 15 times per day. The city was spending countless dollars treating this groundwater. The engineer thought High Performance Coating was the best answer for an impossible problem.




To solve the water issues at the Sturgeon Lake Lift Station, the Innovative TEAM stopped the water infiltration and applied our High Performance Coating to the lift station walls. This solved the leaking water problem and reduced the number of times the pump came on per day, resulting in a total of 21,600 gallons of water saved per day.  In addition, the project was completed in four hours and coated in the winter.
