Eric attended Cambridge Community College PSEO while in high school. After graduation he started working for a small utility contractor where he was introduced to the very new technology of horizontal directional drilling (HDD). Eric quickly developed an aptitude for HDD and was recruited by Case Corporation to be a product specialist. As a product specialist, Eric would travel to work sites and spend weeks training crews how to operate and use Case drilling products.
Eric has traveled the world and drilled in 48 states and 39 countries on five continents including Russia, China, Brazil and Australia. During this time, Eric went back to school at Augsburg College and was asked by Case to build a training program for dealer's service departments. This once again turned into international travel as he brought the training program to Case's hydraulic and electrical engineers of the Asia Pacific region and to South America.
In 2001, Eric left Case Corporation and moved to Duluth, MN to work for a directional drilling contractor working as a supervisor for crews working the Upper Midwest. While there, they developed a great reputation as "the guys to call when no one else could get the job done.'
After 14 years of working for Case Corporation Eric joined the team as the operations manager for Foundation SupportWorks by Innovative.
